Baku. Laura Jabrayilli-APA. A roundtable “Promotion of Azerbaijan abroad” has been held in Azerbaijan Ataturk Center today. APA reports that the representatives of Azerbaijan’s media outlets and public participated in the roundtable. Researcher living in Berlin, director of Azerbaijan Culture Institute named after Nizami Ganjavi in Germany Nuride Ateshi said Azerbaijan’s millennium poetry will be published in German.
“Anthology “Night butterfly and candle” devoted to Azerbaijani literature is being published in “Mattes und Seiz Berlin” printing house. It is planned to exhibit the book in Frankfurt Book Fair in October this year,” she said.
She said that the publication of the novel “Man unaware of love” written by Mahammad Asad bay under the nickname of Gurban Seid and the author’s archive materials for the first time in Azerbaijan was an important event and regretted that this theme was not touched upon during Azerbaijani Culture Days in Germany.
Maarif Teymurov, director of Azerbaijan State Literature and Art Archive named after Salman Mumtaz, translator and scientist Cherkez Gurbanov and journalist living in the US Gulbaniz Arifgizi spoke about the tasks lying ahead of the representatives of media and public for the promotion of Azerbaijan’s truths.
Chairman of Azerbaijan Journalists Union Elchin Shikhli presented the certificates to Nuride Ateshi and Gulbaniz Arifgizi giving them the right to represent the union in Europe and the US correspondingly.
