Abulfas Garayev: â€œSometimes Azerbaijanâ€™s map is not drawn correctly even in the publications released in Bakuâ€

But it has no positive influence on the work. The printing houses do not present even the compulsory copies to Azerbaijanâ€™s Central Library,â€ Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said, APA reports. The minister said the related issue would be raised and necessary measures would be taken.
â€œUnfortunately, sometimes Azerbaijanâ€™s map is not drawn correctly even in the publications released in Baku. We should control it in the country,â€ he said.
Abulfas Garayev said book sale was also one of the serious problems in Azerbaijan.
â€œLack of book sale reduced interest of the youth in books. Thatâ€™s why we have particularly pointed out this issue in the program on the improvement of library. The program has passed all necessary instances and is awaiting its approval. According to the program, libraries in Baku and big cities will also serve as Library and Information Center, and in some places as bookshops,â€ he said.
