The United States Department of Commerce expanded its list of sanctions with 37 new entities, most of them from China, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The list now includes 28 new entities from China, four from Pakistan, three from Myanmar, and one each from Belarus, Russia, and Taiwan. The department explained those were added to the sanctions list as they "have been involved, are involved, or pose a significant risk of being or becoming involved in activities contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States."
Among the entities affected are computer server producer Inspur Group Co., genomics company BGI Group, and Loongson Technology Corporation Limited.
