The US administration may launch a nuclear strike against Iran in the coming days under pressure from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, American journalist Tucker Carlson said in a post on the social media platform X, APA reports.
According to his claim, the possible strike could target Mount Pikaks, located in central Iran. Carlson wrote that Israeli intelligence claims the Iranian government has resumed its nuclear program in that area.
According to the journalist, US President Donald Trump may make a decision on the use of nuclear weapons by November 7.
Carlson claims that US conventional weapons are unable to penetrate the 90-meter-thick layer of granite beneath which the nuclear facilities are believed to be located.
According to him, Russia has warned at least two countries that a US nuclear strike against Iran could pave the way for Moscow to use similar weapons against Ukraine.
