The discussion of a complaint regarding restrictions imposed by Russia on Armenian products at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has been postponed at the request of the Armenian side, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said to journalists, APA reports.
According to the minister, the postponement of the discussion was the result of an agreement reached between him and the relevant minister of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
"It would not be appropriate for me to talk about this. This is the result of an agreement reached between me and the EAEU minister," Papoyan noted.
The discussion is tentatively scheduled to take place one week later.
Note that Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has been gradually imposing restrictions on imports of products from Armenia since May.
