Europe is destroying itself, said U.S. President Donald Trump during his speech in Davos, APA reports.
Trump said that Europe is not moving in the right direction.
"We want strong allies, not weakened allies. Europe is not in the right position," he noted.
Trump called on Europe to follow the path of the United States.
The U.S. President also stated that the Western economy is suffering from ever-increasing government spending, uncontrolled mass migration, and endless foreign imports.
"We want Europe to be strong. The United States cares deeply about the people of Europe. We truly do care. We deeply believe in the ties we share with Europe. That is why issues such as energy, trade, immigration, and economic growth should be the primary concerns for anyone who wants to see a strong and united West," the White House leader added.
