“We highly value the role Iran plays in the negotiations. Talks with Iran are on the right track,” said US Vice President J.D. Vance, APA reports.
“Negotiations are going well. But if we make concessions to Iran on the nuclear issue, it could create a domino effect in the Middle East and lead to dangerous consequences. We highly appreciate Iran’s role in the negotiations, but these talks must end with Iran fully dismantling its nuclear program. Yes, they may have the right to use nuclear energy for civilian purposes. But the question is: which regime has a civilian nuclear program without nuclear weapons? The answer is: none. We have no problem with nuclear energy. The main issue is nuclear weapons,” he stated.
The US Vice President also said that an agreement allowing Iran to reintegrate into the global economy is possible. He added that Iran may possess peaceful nuclear energy.
