Donald Trump held a lengthy phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the White House said APA reports.
In a post on X moments ago, the Ukrainian president said the talk lasted for more than 90 minutes in total, with European leaders joining it.
He didn't go into too many details about the content of the call, but it's known that he agreed to meet Trump in Washington on Monday.
Axios has reported that Trump told Zelenskyy and NATO leaders that Putin "doesn't want a ceasefire and prefers a comprehensive agreement to end the war".
Axios reporter Barak Ravid tweeted saying that Trump told them: "I think a fast peace deal is better than a ceasefire."
