The United States attempted to send weapons to the Iranian people to overthrow the government in Tehran, but regional allies prevented it, US President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox, APA reports.
He stated that the United States delivered weapons to the Kurds, but the Kurds kept the weapons instead of distributing them to Iranians.
“The Kurds disappointed us. I will remember that,” Trump noted.
Trump emphasized that tonight's attack on Iran would be “bigger and stronger.”
“I just do not want to send ground troops, otherwise we could enter there tomorrow. If I wanted, we would send a small group of military personnel there and take over the entire country,” Trump added.
