The German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) announced the completion of their mission in Greenland, Lieutenant Colonel Peter Milevchuk, the representative of the German Armed Forces for the Greenland mission, said in an interview with the Funke media group, APA reports.
According to him, hey had fulfilled their initial tasks - conducting exercises and studying the situation within the framework of the readiness initiative.
Speaking to journalists at Nuuk airport, Peter Milevchuk called the cooperation with his Danish colleagues "very positive and constructive": "As I have already mentioned, we studied the situation here at the initial stage and generally fulfilled the task. Now we are returning home with the results achieved."
