Chile summed up the results of the presidential elections

The candidate from the coalition of the left forces Gabriel Borich won the presidential elections in Chile after counting 100% of the votes, it follows from the data of the electoral commission, APA reports citing Oops.

According to the data published on the website of the election commission, 55.87% of voters voted for Borich, and 44.13% for his rival, Jose Antonio Casta from the Republican Party.

Boric, 35, will become the youngest president in Chilean history.

The second round of the presidential elections took place in Chile on December 19, 2021. The new head of state will take office on March 11, 2022.
