Libyan congress dismisses cabinet line-up

Baku-APA. Libya’s national congress on Thursday dismissed the cabinet line-up that Prime Minister-elect Mustafa Abushagur presented one day ago, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
During a telephone call on Thursday evening, Abushagur told the parliamentary speaker that he would like the congress to dismiss the cabinet line-up.
The congress then repealed the line-up, and gave Abushagur until Oct. 7 to make a new list.
There have been multiple conflicts in western cities, including Zawiyah, on Thursday. Some groups besieged government institutions in protest of the new cabinet line-up announced by Abushagur on Wednesday evening.
One opposition member told Xinhua that the list does not reflect "people’s will."
Abushagur announced the line-up of the new cabinet and submitted it to the national congress for approval on Wednesday. The list includes 27 cabinet members, with the prime minister having three deputies.
