“The message of the Mecca Agreement is very clear: the security of one of us is the security of us all,” President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, APA reports.
“At the same time, as the countries that have signed this alliance, we are sending the message that we will not pose a threat to one another, but rather that we are committed to ensuring each other’s security and standing in solidarity with one another,” Erdoğan noted.
According to him, with this agreement, they are not targeting any country, and the aim here is solely regional peace, stability and the well-being of the peoples.
The Turkish President emphasized that “this agreement is open to all brotherly countries that want peace and stability in the region.”
Note that some time ago, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif signed the Mecca Agreement. Under the agreement, an attack on any member of the alliance will be regarded as an attack on all parties to the agreement.
