A Pentagon investigation has determined that US strikes in Yemen in 2025 killed more than 150 civilians, The Washington Post reported.
According to the newspaper, an internal Pentagon review found that airstrikes carried out during US operations against armed groups in Yemen killed 153 civilians and injured around 250 others.
The Washington Post said the findings mark the first time the US Department of Defense has acknowledged responsibility for causing significant harm to non-combatants during the conflict.
The Pentagon is expected to publicly release the findings of the investigation in the coming months.
The review covers only US strikes carried out in Yemen and does not include attacks against Iran, according to the report.
