Libyan air forces bomb protesters

APA reports quoting â€œBBC Newsâ€ that the target of the bombing was the army base, the staff of which defected to the opposition.

There is no information about the casualties of the bombing. â€œAl-Jazeeraâ€ reports that the police of Bengazhi city had also defected to the Moammar Qaddafiâ€™s opponents.

Moammar Qaddafiâ€™s son Seif Al-Islam Qaddafi admits on Libyaâ€™s state television that the countryâ€™s army and police did make mistakes dealing with protesters and that the country is running the risk of plunging into civil war. He claimed that there is a plot to break Libya into small Islamic states.

The street fighting is continued in the Libyan capital. Earlier opposition supporters seized and set the government and national television buildings a fire. Protesters against Qaddafiâ€™s regime seized the international airport in Tripoli.
