Baku – APA. Azerbaijan’s embassy in Poland has issued a statement on hacker attack to its website.

The embassy told APA that Armenian hackers has today hacked the website of Azerbaijan’s embassy in Poland, deleted information and changed information on homepage: “The Azerbaijani map on homepage was changed, the occupied Azerbaijani territories by Armenians was dabbed in the colors of the national flag of Armenia, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic was dabbed in red and “Nakhchivan wait for us” was written on it. Fictitious brief historic information was also posted on the picture reflecting the interests of the Armenians in Azerbaijan and Turkey. We consider that this illicit action of the Armenian hackers is an attempt to prevent the activities of the diplomatic mission to thoroughly expose Armenia’s expansionist policy against Azerbaijan and Armenian nationalists’ propaganda against our country and people based on lies and slanders and to inform the Polish community on the aforementioned problems based on the truth.”

The operation of the site has been restored.
