Deputy Head of the Main Health Department of Baku Rauf Nagiyev told APA that 546,434 people had been examined since February 17, various diseases were revealed in 46,499 of them.
He said that 169,161 people underwent other medical examinations and noted that 10,788 people with some diseases were taken to dispensaries. 1,500 people have been sanitated, they are being treated: “2,068 people were hospitalized. Nerve, vascular, digestive, gastrointestinal, respiratory and eye diseases prevails among revealed diseases.”
Compulsory medical examination of people firstly covers the period from February 17 till May 1. This process will continue throughout the year.
