Two tons of illegal drugs seized in Azerbaijan

Baku. Ramiz Mikayiloglu – APA. In the nine months of 2016, Azerbaijani law enforcement agencies have uncovered 2,628 illegal drug facts such as purchase, storage, and sales of illegal drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors for sale or otherwise as well as cultivation of narcotic plants, etc., according to a report by the working group of the State Commission for Fighting Against Drug Addiction and Illicit Drugs Trafficking.

In the operation conducted during the reporting period, a total of about 2 ton drugs of various kinds were seized and burned down.
