Baku. Aqshin Rafiqoglu – APA-Economics. Media reports that the family of lieutenant colonel Raquf Orujov, who was martyred fighting to prevent the Armenian armed provocation against our country in early April 2016, has not been paid pension and social benefits, are untrue, Elman Babayev, head of PR department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, said Saturday.
Babayev said the martyr’s spouse, Sevinj Alizadeh, appealed to the ministry a few days ago, complaining that the payments had not been made. Although she did not present all the necessary documents, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population contacted the Defense Ministry, so all the documents were obtained in a short time. So the martyr’s family will receive AZN 907,70 monthly pension as well as AZN 132 presidential pension for martyr families – a total of AZN 1,039 monthly social payment.
Babayev added that S. Alizadeh will also be given a card to obtain the payments remaining from the last four months.
