At the meeting chaired by Minister of Justice Fikret Mammadov it was noted that the council has conducted an analysis in order to further expand self-rule functions of the court, better provide of the independence of judges, also determine the mechanisms of preventing the exterior interferences in their work.
Disciplinary proceedings of judges have also been reviewed at the meeting.
The court has passed decisions on dismissing chairman of Goranboy district court Vidadi Nasirov, judges of Ganja administrative-economical court Javad Ibrahimov and Rafig Mammadov on charges of creating grounds for corruption by preventing citizens’ rights, committing procrastination and other irregularities.
Judge of Ganja military court Vaqif Gadirov’s authority has been prematurely brought to an end, and judge of Sheki district court Kamran Suleymanov was caviled at.
