According to information, the density of population made 112 persons per m2. Each 1,000 men are equal to 1,007 women. 53.1% of population is in cities, 46.9% in villages, 49.8% are men, 50.2% women.

In January-May 2016, 65,300 babies were born in the country. Of this, 53.2% are boys, 46.8% - girls. 11745 of the new-borns were twins, 30 were triplets.

24,300 deaths were recorded in January-May.
