Hajibala Abutalibov: â€œIf the expensive cars, especially with the special number plates are parked in prohibited places in Baku, they are evacuatedâ€

Baku. Javid Zeynalli – APA. ”7 terminals - Park-manats have been brought to Baku in order to eliminate to traffic jams ”, said Head of Baku Mayor’s Office Hajibala Abutalibov, APA reports.

According to him, 6 terminals have already been installed and the 7th will be installed today behind Heydar Aliyev Palace.

Abutalibov noted that 1,000 terminals will be brought to Baku by the year-end and these will eliminate the traffic jams.

Answering the question that why the cars parked in the prohibited places are not evacuated by police, the Head of the Executive Power of Baku City said: “This information is lie. Employees of the Executive Power and police are doing nothing illegal. If the expensive cars, especially with the special number plates are parked in prohibited places in Baku, they are evacuated. I will issue a special related order on Monday”.

Abutalibov also said parking in central streets will not be permitted.

According to him, Park-Manats will be installed in relatively distant streets. Boys and girls in special uniform will be serving there. Park-Manats will operate by cash or a card. It will cost AZN 0.50 for half an hour. In case the payment isn’t made, drivers will be double fined for each hour.

A notification about it will be pasted on cars.

Answering the question about construction of cycle road, Abutalibov said there will also be cycle roads after wide streets are constructed.
