Baku-APA. Azerbaijan has raised tariffs on the wholesale and retail sale of electricity, the Secretariat of the Tariff (Price) Council of Azerbaijan told APA.
The decision on the regulation of domestic electricity tariffs was made today at a meeting of the Tariff Council, on the basis of appeals of “Azerishig” and “Azerenergy” Open Joint Stock Companies.
According to the decision, the wholesale price of the sale of 1 kW / h of electricity was set at 4.3 NSG, and the value of retail sales of 1 kW / h. - 7 gapek.
Retail electricity price was 6 gapek per 1 kW / h. These rates were set in 2007.
The decision enters into force from 15 July.
