Upon the relevant presidential orders, four state higher educational institutions – the Baku Engineering University, the Azerbaijan University of Languages, the Baku State University and the Azerbaijan State Economic University were granted the statuses of public legal entity, the country’s deputy education minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, told APA.
The deputy minister said that this is a very positive step in term of better management of universities and creation of wider opportunities.
“The Charter of the Baku Engineering University as a new public legal entity has already been approved. New charters of the pother three universities will also be developed and submitted to the president”, he said.
