The Parliament told APA that new projects were included in the agenda along with Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers’ report for 2013.
They are annexes and amendments to the Criminal Code and Code of Criminal Procedure, law “On counterterrorism”. The projects envisages tightening penalties for recruitment, training of mercenaries and their use in armed conflicts, military operations, as well as imposing new severe penalties for setting up armed groups outside the territory of Azerbaijan and their participation in armed conflicts, as well as expanding coverage of terrorism notion.
Additional projects will be discussed at the plenary session of the Parliament along with the government report for the first time.
