Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Investigation of more than 100 criminal cases on corruption-related facts has been completed and sent to courts for consideration in Azerbaijan since the beginning of 2016, Kamran Aliyev, chief of Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General told reporters on Friday.
Of them, 37 criminal cases had been initiated over corruption facts recorded in the banking sector; 16 criminal cases on private sector, 13 criminal cases on construction sector, 11 cases on trade sector, 8 cases on local executive authorities, 5 cases on municipalities, 4 cases on healthcare sector, 3 cases on Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, 3 cases on education sector, 3 cases on energy sector, 3 cases on transportation sector and 1 case on internal affairs agencies.
