Baku – APA. On April 24-25, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations, Lieutenant-General Etibar Mirzeyev attended the 21st General Session of the International Civil Defense Organization in Geneva, Switzerland Confederation.
APA reports quoting MES website that the event was attended by representatives from 41 ICDO member-states and 6 observer states.
Making speech at the session, E. Mirzeyev gave information about prevention of emergency situations, elimination of their results and works carried out in civil defense.
Within the event, Azerbaijan has become a member of ICDO Executive Council.
