Azerbaijanâ€™s Interior Ministry gets additional powers to organize parking spaces

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has been given additional powers to organize parking spaces on highways.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on making amendments to the presidential decree (dated June 30, 2001) on the Approval of the Regulations and Structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan”, APA reported.

According to the sub-item annexed to the “Regulations on the Ministry of Internal Affairs”, the ministry in coordination with relevant local executive authority makes proposals on organization of parking spaces on highways and is involved in organizing parking spaces on municipal and private roads.
