"Continuous work is being done in the direction of organizing health and protection of plants in our country," Minister of Agriculture Inam Karimov said at the event "Plant Health Innovations for Food Security", APA reports.
The minister noted that the whole world is already feeling the effects of global climate change.
"Global warming, decrease in atmospheric precipitation, disruption of the ecological balance, reaching the limit of production capacity of land and water resources have a negative impact on all areas, including agriculture. These issues are no longer problems faced by individual countries, but by the whole world. It is important to share information and experience in taking preventive measures against the risks caused by climate changes."
