An official ceremony was held at the Turkish and Azerbaijani Martyrs' Alleys on the occasion of the 108th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from enemy occupation by the Caucasian Islamic Army under the command of Nuru Pasha, APA reports.

It was reported that employees of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan, the military attaché's office, advisers, as well as representatives of relevant institutions and organizations attended the ceremony.
According to the information, Ambassador Birol Akgün laid a wreath at the monuments, visited the graves of the martyrs, placed carnations on the graves and signed the Book of Martyrs.
