Polish President Karol Nawrocki cut short his visit to Senegal and returned to Warsaw due to a crisis surrounding the country's Constitutional Tribunal, APA reports.
After arriving in the capital, the president held a meeting at the Presidential Palace with Constitutional Tribunal President Bogdan Święczkowski and Supreme Court President Zbigniew Kapiński.
No information was provided about the issues discussed during the meeting.
It should be noted that Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska had earlier announced the suspension of Święczkowski from his duties for one month.
