Restoration and reconstruction works in village of Dovlatyarli in Azerbaijan's Fuzuli cover area of 323 hectares-PHOTO

“Restoration and reconstruction works in the village of Dovlatyarly in the Fuzuli district are progressing rapidly. The project covers a total area of 323 hectares and is being implemented in two stages,” said the Head of the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the districts of Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand, Leyla Sarabi, in a statement to journalists, APA’s local correspondent reports.

She also noted that the first stage envisages the construction of 450 private residential houses on a 137-hectare area. The houses are being built in 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-room configurations:

“The total residential area is approximately 40,000 square meters.

The village’s social infrastructure is being established in parallel. A full secondary school for 360 students, a kindergarten for 120 children, a medical station, as well as an administrative and multifunctional building are being constructed. In addition, the installation of a boiler system for the school and kindergarten, transformers, and other engineering facilities is also considered.

All main utility lines are being laid during the first stage. The project already includes a 15.6 km internal road, a 42 km 35 kV power line, a 45 km 0.4 kV power line, a 74 km communication line, a 15.6 km water supply line, 17.8 km of gas pipelines, and a 12.7 km sewerage system.

At the second stage, 269 private residential houses will be built on a 186-hectare area, bringing the total number of houses in the village to 719 across both stages. This stage also includes the construction of public and commercial buildings, a sports and wellness center, a market, a fountain, and a car service station. In the future, multi-apartment buildings and public catering facilities will also be established in this area.”

It should be noted that this project is being implemented in full accordance with the modern infrastructure concept of the Fuzuli district and based on the “smart village” principles. The goal is to create modern living conditions and ensure the socio-economic revitalization of the region.
