"Modernization of hydrometeorological observation network is carried out within the framework of public investment. Operative information received from automated stations and radars operating in the country is delivered to newly established station centers and seriously analyzed," Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev said, APA reports.
"Liberation of our territories from occupation after about 30 years has created a new opportunity to soften and decrease the impact of climate change. Application of "green agriculture", "smart village", and "smart city" concepts during the restoration of these territories, use of environment-friendly technologies, and renewable energy sources will play an important role in the sustainable development of these areas," noted Minister.
