World-renowned international travelers led by Kolja Spori, the head of the ETIC (Extreme Traveler International Congress) club, got acquainted with the city of Shusha, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
The travelers’ tour of Shusha began from the central square, where the bullet-damaged statues of Azerbaijan’s prominent figures, Natavan, Bulbul, and Uzeyir Hajibayli, are located.
The guests were informed about the city of Shusha, its condition during the occupation period, and the reconstruction works being carried out there.
It was noted that during nearly 30 years of occupation, the city’s historical buildings, mosques, and monuments were subjected to Armenian vandalism. After the city was liberated from occupation, large-scale restoration and construction works were launched here.
