I call on the world to do everything possible to support Azerbaijan for the missing persons, said Rahman Chisti, a former member of the UK Parliament, who inspected the mass grave discovered in Aghdara, APA reports.
Rahman Chisti shared his impressions upon seeing the shocking scenes of the mass graves: “I have witnessed shocking scenes of mass graves here. First of all, I would like to express my condolences to all the families and the people of Azerbaijan who suffered heartbreaking losses in this terrible conflict. Such conflicts should never happen again. I saw the losses of innocent people and the Azerbaijani nation, as well as the mass graves — it is deeply shocking. I call on the world to do everything possible to prevent this from ever happening again. I also urge the international community to support Azerbaijan in its efforts to ensure the return of missing persons. This must never be repeated in our world.”
Rahman Chisti emphasized that the role of the international community is important, and solidarity must be shown on this issue.
