A farewell ceremony for former Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev is being held at the Taza Pir Mosque, APA reports.
The ceremony is attended by family members, relatives, and public representatives of the deceased.
The former minister will be buried at the "Gurd Gapisi" cemetery.
It should be noted that Ogtay Shiraliyev died yesterday evening in the Shuvalan settlement of the Khazar district.
It should be noted that he was born on August 2, 1950 in Baku into a family of doctors and was appointed Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2005.
On August 12, 2015, Ogtay Shiraliyev was awarded the "Shohrat" Order for his services to the development of healthcare. On April 23, 2021, Ogtay Shiraliyev was dismissed from the post of Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
