The first resettlement to the villages of Chydyran, Ashaghy Oratagh, Heyvali and Chapar in Aghdara district took place on January 9, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
The families arriving in Aghdara district were welcomed by staff of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi, as well as in Aghdara and Khojaly districts. With the participation of representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, apartment keys were handed over to 89 former internally displaced families totaling 337 people.
Deputy Special Representative of the President in the city of Khankendi and the Khojaly and Aghdara districts, Sabuhi Gahramanov, and Executive Director of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service, Telman Kerimli, congratulated the former internally displaced persons and wished them a happy and prosperous life.
It was noted that all the necessary infrastructure for living has been created in the resettled villages. Residential houses have been restored, and electricity, gas, drinking water, road, and communication lines have been put into operation. The employment of the resettled families remains constantly in focus.
Afterwards, the families settled into their new homes.

The resettlement convoy has arrived in Aghdara, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
31 families comprising 119 people were resettled in the village of Ashaghy Oratagh in Aghdara district, 26 families comprising 96 people in the village of Chapar, 19 families comprising 74 people in the village of Heyvalı, and 13 families comprising 48 people in the village of Chyldyran.
The resettled individuals are families who had been temporarily accommodated in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

As part of the Great Return to the liberated territories, resettlement convoys have been dispatched to the villages of Chyldyran, Ashaghy Oratagh, Heyvali, and Chapar in Aghdara district, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.
Those being relocated are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.
A total of 31 families comprising 119 people are being resettled in the village of Ashaghy Oratagh, 26 families with 96 people in Chapar, 19 families with 74 people in Heyvali, and 13 families with 48 people in Chyldyran.
Residents returning to their native lands expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them. They also conveyed their appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani Army, heroic soldiers and officers who liberated the country’s territories from occupation, and paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives along this path.
