On April 29, the next phase of resettlement took place to six villages of the Khojaly district and one village of the Aghdara district, the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service for the city of Khankendi and the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly told APA’s Karabakh bureau.
Within the framework of the resettlement process, 10 families (46 people) returned to Khanabad village of the Khojaly district, 16 families (59 people) to Badara village, 4 families (25 people) to Khanyurdu village, 1 family (3 people) to Seyidbeyli village, 1 family (5 people) to Shushakend village, 3 families (15 people) to Tazabina village, and 6 families (22 people) to Ashaghy Oratag village of the Aghdara district.
In total, keys to new homes in Khojaly were handed over to 41 families comprising 175 people.
The event was attended by Sabuhi Gahramanov, Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly, and Mahmud Afandiyev, Deputy Director of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service for the city of Khankendi and the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly.
In his speech, S. Gahramanov congratulated the residents on their return to their native lands and provided information about the large-scale construction, improvement, and restoration work being carried out in the region. He stated that all necessary social infrastructure has been established for the resettled residents and that conditions have been ensured for their comfortable living.

Those resettled are families who had been temporarily accommodated in various parts of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums and administrative buildings.
