On October 9, a total of 112 people from 28 families were resettled in Vangli village of the Aghdara district, Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly told APA's Karabakh bureau.
The keys to the restored residential houses in the village were handed over to the former internally displaced persons.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy Executive Director of the public legal entity Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the districts of Aghdara and Khojaly, Mahmud Afandiyev, congratulated the residents and wished them prosperity, health, and happy days in their new homes.
M. Afandiyev noted that since the village was liberated from occupation, repair and reconstruction works have been carried out, and all the necessary infrastructure has been created to ensure the comfortable living of residents.
Recall that up to this day, 51 families comprising 188 people had already been resettled in Vangli village. Thus, with today’s relocation, a total of 79 families — more than 300 residents — have returned to the village.
