A media tour by journalists to the Aghdara district has begun, APA’s local bureau reports.
Journalists first visited the village of Ashagi Oratagh in the district.
Afat Telmangizi, Head of the Public Relations Department of the Restoration, Construction and Management Service in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, stated that the village has a total of 308 individual houses:
“Of these, 148 are uninhabitable, and 160 are partially habitable. Currently, 100 houses have been restored and put into use, and during the year, the major renovation and restoration of an additional 60 houses is planned. Initially, 31 families (119 people) have returned to the village.”
She also provided detailed information regarding the infrastructure:
“Two transformers and a gas line have been restored in the village; new electricity, gas, and communication lines have been installed; a water pump has been put into operation; 560-cubic-meter water reservoirs have been cleaned, and the sub-artesian well has been repaired. Intra-village roads nearly 7 kilometers long have been restored, a park has been established for residents’ recreation, and a football field has been created.”
Note that Ashagi Oratagh was liberated from occupation in 2023 as a result of the anti-terror operation by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
