Preparations have begun in Baku for the anniversary of the January 20 tragedy, the Press Service of the Baku City Executive Power told APA.
Preparations have started at the Alley of Martyrs for the thirty-sixth anniversary of the January 20 tragedy.
It was noted that the area is constantly under the supervision of the Baku City Executive Power. Traditionally, special compositions are made at the Alley using carnations of various colors. Experienced specialists and landscape designers are involved in this work.
In addition, Baku City Executive Power’s agencies carry out extensive cleaning and landscaping work at the Martyrs’ Alley, damaged tiles are replaced, light poles are painted, sidewalks and the entire area are washed, and preventive measures are taken on both torches in the alley. Moreover, tree branches and some bushes have been pruned, the lawn has been renewed, and new flowers and shrubs have been planted.
