"A blood donation campaign entitled "We have one soul, one blood" has been held in Central Bank of Blood today, APA reports.
The event has been attended by Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci, Deputy Minister of Health Nadir Zeynalov, President ofAzerbaijan Red Crescent Society, Deputy of Azerbaijani Parliament Novruz Aslanov, and others.
It has been brought to attention that the blood donation campaign is held with a joint organization of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and Representation of Turkish Red Crescent in Azerbaijan.
Making a speech at the opening of the event, Ambassador Cahit Bagci has stressed that Azerbaijan and Türkiye enjoy friendship and brotherhood relations.
"We make Turkish-Azerbaijani brotherhood into blood brotherhood. As you know, the Turkish Red Crescent Society operates all over the world, from East to West, there is no place where it has not set foot. This means we are with our brothers. We saw the best example of it in the Second Karabakh War. We were with our brothers everywhere every second," the ambassador noted.
