47 percent of coronavirus cases in Azerbaijan fall to the share of Baku City, said Ramin Bayramli, chairman of the Management Board of the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) at the briefing of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers today, APA reports.
He said the infection rate is 13.6 percent in Ganja-Gazakh region, 11.1 percent – in Aran region, 9.2 percent – in Absheron region, 8.6 percent – in Lankaran, 1.5 percent – in Guba-Khachmaz region, 1.1 percent – in Upper Garabagh, 1.1 percent in Sheki-Zagatala, 1.1 percent – in Mountainous Shirvan, and 0.1 percent – in Nakhchivan. The people arrived from abroad account for 5.4 percent of the infected persons.
