2nd Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum held in Baku-UPDATED-PHOTO

The 2nd Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan Media Forum themed “Digital Transformation and Media” has been held, APA reports.

The forum featured panel sessions under the themes of “Media Partnership in the Digital Age: Joint Initiatives Towards Information Security” and “Ethical Responsibility in the Digital Information Environment.”

First, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Ahmad Ismayilov, greeted the forum participants and stated that the historical ties between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have reached a high level today as a result of the strong political will and visionary leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

During the panel session, discussions were held around the expansion of cooperation between media organizations in the era of digital transformation, the formation of joint initiatives in the field of information security, the importance of joint actions in the fight against disinformation, and the strengthening of partnerships between state institutions and media entities.

Speakers emphasized that information security is a strategic issue in the modern era, requiring coordination and cooperation on a global scale.

At the end of the session, the speakers answered questions from the audience and shared their thoughts on the topic.

Note that with this, the 2nd Azerbaijan–Uzbekistan Media Forum themed “Digital Transformation and Media,” organized by the Media Development Agency, has concluded its work.
