Womenâ€™s peace campaign conducts against military operations in Gaza

Baku. Kamala Gulieva â€“APA. Several NGOs conducted womenâ€™s peace campaign against wars, political conflicts resulted with death of children, women in Azerbaijan , APA reports
Attendees of campaign have appealed to Un Secretary General Ban Ki Moon . The appeal says that Azerbaijani women seeing Khojali massacre know that which tragedy and disturbances were created as a result of war. Therefore they cannot be inattentive in bloodshed. We are against all conflicts around the world and demand to stop all tragedies and killing of children, women irrespective of their race, religion and nation,â€ the appeal records.
Womenâ€™s peace campaign called on all international actors engaging in women and children affairs to vote in website , which will function in a several days .
The message addressed to international actors says:
â€œDonâ€™tâ€™ be indifferent! Will the 21st century also witness killing of children and women irrespective of their race, religion and nation? One can not even listen to the daily news from Near East, Israel-Palestine conflict zone. Over 220 children, 90 women were killed, 1080 children woundedâ€¦ We think that no target lying ahead is worth a tear-drop of a child. Death of children, parents, misfortune of thousands of peopleâ€¦ Can we close our eyes to this?â€
â€œCeasefire should be declared, all disputable issues leading to bloody conflicts should be solved by means of negotiations, suffering people should be provided with international humanitarian aid,â€ the authors of the appeal say.
The appeal was signed by chairperson of Republic Children Organization, MP Guler Ahmadova, chairperson of Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurship Association Vafa Efendiyeva, chairperson of Womenâ€™s Rights Protection Society named after Dilara Aliyeva Novella Jafaroglu, chairperson of â€œMartyrsâ€™ mothersâ€ Charity Center Raifga Asgarova and â€œMushfigâ€ Public Union of Assistance to Disabled Children Valida Abbasova.
