Weather temperature in Azerbaijan to be close to climate norms in January

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayevaâ€“APA. Average monthly weather temperature in Azerbaijan in January is expected to be close to climate norms and 1-2 degree higher in some regions. National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA monthly rainfall was also to be close to the climate norms and higher in some areas.

Average monthly weather temperature in Baku and Absheron peninsula is expected to be 5-7 C, which is one degree higher than climate norm. In the third decade of January it will be 2-5 C. In the nights the temperature will be 2-4 C, on separate days 0-2 C and -2-4 C later January. The daytime temperature is expected to be 5-9 C, on separate days 1-3 C. The monthly rainfall will be close to the climate norm (18-28 mm) and some higher.

In Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the average monthly weather temperature is expected to be from 0-3 C in the first half of January, which is two degree higher than the climate norm. It will be -2-5 C in the third decade of the month. The temperature will be -5-10 C in the nights, on separate days -15-18 C and on some days of the third decade -23-25 C. The daytime temperature will range from -2 to +3 C, on the separate days -5-7 C, later in the month -10-13 C.
Monthly rainfall will be normal (14-25 mm).

In the regions of Upper Karabakh â€“ Khankendi, Khojavand, Zangilan, Gubadli, Shusha, Khojali, Lachin, Kalbajar, Dashkasan-Gadabay, the average monthly temperature is expected to be -1+2 C, which is 1-2 degree higher than the climate norms. -3-5 C is expected in the third decade of January, -3-8 C in the nights, on the separate days -13-18 C, and the daytime temperature will be -1+4 C, on the separate days -2-5 C. The monthly rainfall is expected to be nearly climate norm (16-24 mm) and higher in some places.

The temperature is expected to 2-4 C in Gazakh-Gandja, Terter, Aghdam-Fuzuli-Jabrayil, this is above normal. In the third ten-day the temperature will be close 0. The temperature is forecasted to be 2 -3 C at nights, sometimes -5 -7 C, 4-8 C in the daytimes, sometimes 0 -4 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 10-32mm).

The average monthly temperature will be -1â€¦ 3 C in Balaken-Shaki-Zagatala-Gabala, Shamakhy-Ismayilli, Khizi, Siyazan-Devechi, Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz, this is close 1 degree above normal. In the third ten-day the temperature will be -1 -3 C, 0 -5 C at nights, sometimes -7 -12 C. The temperature is predicted to be 1-6 C in the daytimes and sometimes -3 -8 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 22-49mm), in some places above normal.

The average monthly temperature is forecasted to be 5-7 C in Central Aran regions â€“ Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Imishli, Shirvan, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Salyan, Neftchala, this is above normal by 2 degrees. The temperature will be 2-4 C in the third ten-day. The temperature is predicted to be 0-4 C at nights, sometimes -2 -5 C, 6-11 C in daytimes, sometimes -1â€¦ 3 C. The amount of monthly precipitation is forecasted to be close normal (norm 17-30mm).

Average monthly temperature is expected to be 5-7 C in Masalli-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik-Yardimli, this is above normal by 2 degrees. The temperature will be above normal by 3-4 degrees in the third ten-day. The temperature is predicted to be 1-3 C at nights, sometimes -4 C, 6-11 C in daytimes, sometimes 0-4 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 63-98mm), in some places above normal.
