Azerbaijan’s biggest hemodialysis center to open in Azersutikinti hospital

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva – APA. Azerbaijan’s Health Ministry will open hemodialysis centers for the people suffering from chronic kidney failure in Sumgayit, Shamakhy, Berde, Tovuz, Guba and Jalilabad. The ministry told APA that such centers had already been opened in Nakhchivan, Gandja, Siyazan, Shirvan, Lankaran, Gazakh, Zagatala and Gabala. About 1200 patients undergo hemodialysis therapy and are supplied with medicines at the government expenditures in 16 hemodialysis centers in the republic. Kidney Transplant Center established in Republic Clinic Urological Hospital under the president’s order, will open soon. The biggest hemodialysis center of the country will be opened in Azersutikinti hospital in Baku in January. 35 patients will undergo hemodialysis therapy in the center every day.
