Baku. Elnur Mammadli–APA. New human rights organization was founded in Azerbaijan. Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the new NGO Emin Huseynov held a press conference on this occasion, APA reports. He said newly-established Human Rights Institute was an organization jointly founded by the young people, who worked in the field of human rights protection so far. Huseynov said they had held a constituent assembly and in a few days they would appeal to the Justice Ministry for registration.
The Chairman said they were ready to work with all Human Rights NGO’s in Azerbaijan. He said Human Rights Institute would try at first to remove newly-installed scanners at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. He said the scanners installed for security took nude photos of the people, which was against the human rights. “These equipments were banned in all European countries and it is unacceptable to implement it in Azerbaijan”. He said they would appeal relevant government organizations for this issue.
