Baku. Nijat Mustafayev-APA-Economics. The Security Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) organized a blood drive to donate blood for children who are suffering from thalassemia.
SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev and senior officers of the company had their blood drawn for thalassemia patients.
Over 400 officers of the Security Department donated blood.
SOCAR president expressed hope that personnel of other departments and offices would also join the blood drive.
