Rostropovich-Vishnevskaya Foundation to end five-year immunization program in Azerbaijan

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva–APA. Rostropovich-Vishnevskaya Foundation will stop the five-year immunization against measles, German measles and parotitis in Azerbaijan a year end. The Foundation’s Director on Azerbaijan Soltan Mammadov told APA the program considered for 1-6 year old children had to be ended last year, but its term was prolonged for a year more. From the next year the program will be sponsored by the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan. The Foundation provided immunization against measles, German measles and parotitis and purchased “Cold Chain†equipment spending totally 10 million dollars to fund the program.
